Statistical mechanics and computation of large deviation rate functions

The aim of this workshop is to gather researchers interested in large deviation theory and statistical mechanics. The meeting will emphasize:

1) mathematical and theoretical aspects of large deviation theory applied to dynamical systems and systems with many degrees of freedom,

2) explicit or numerical computation of large deviation rate function,

3) applications in extended systems,

4) applications in statistical physics, condensed matter, and turbulence.
